The upcoming season of HBO’s NFL documentary series Hard Knocks will give fans an inside look at an established team in a critical period of transition: the Los Angeles Rams.

After 20 years and one Super Bowl title as the St. Louis Rams, the NFL team announced its move to Los Angeles for the 2016 season. The Rams were actually based in L.A. before St. Louis, from 1946–1994, and this return to the California city will mark L.A.’s first NFL team in the 22 years since the Rams left.

As in previous seasons of the series, Hard Knocks: Training Camp With the Los Angeles Rams will delve into the daily lives of the team’s coaches and players as they prepare for the upcoming NFL season at their training camp. The season will consist of five hour-long episodes airing throughout August and into September on HBO.

In this iteration, particular focus will be given to the team’s move. “From the moment it was announced the Rams would be returning to the Los Angeles market, this franchise felt like a natural for the next season of Hard Knocks,” says NFL Films coordinating producer Ken Rodgers. “We look forward to capturing the move to Southern California, training camp and everything in-between.”

Hard Knocks: Training Camp With the Los Angeles Rams will premiere Tuesday, Aug. 9 at 10 p.m. ET on HBO.
