Adele’s tour and headline-making stage banter continued last week when she performed at London’s 02 Arena. While on stage, she spoke out against the pressure to breast feed, which had been in the news after celebrity chef Jamie Oliver told LBC Radio that the country had a “problem” with women not breast feeding.

“It’s f—ing ridiculous, and all those people who put pressure on us, you can go f— yourselves, all right?” Adele said during the show. “Because it’s hard. Some of us can’t do it. I managed about nine weeks with my boobs.”

She continued, speaking about her son Angelo: “I mean, I loved [using formula]. All I wanted to do was breastfeed and then I couldn’t and then I felt like, ‘If I was in the jungle now back in the day, my kid would be dead because my milk’s gone.’”
