Hillary Clinton really wants to win New York in SNL cold open

(NBC)

Kate McKinnon’s Hillary Clinton returned to Saturday Night Live this weekend to address the Democratic presidential candidate’s recent losing streak — she doesn’t know how many states it’s been, but there are seven holes in her wall that need repairing — and also show she’s ready to win the upcoming New York primary.

“I love being back in the Fat Apple, my home state,” McKinnon-as-Clinton said. “Except for Illinois and Arkansas, but they already voted for me, so we cool.” (Clinton was born in Chicago and served as a New York senator from 2001-2009.)

She showed her New York cred by bragging about seeing that hot new Broadway play, Chicago, wearing a Yankees hat (and then a Mets one), and, just as the real Clinton did this week, riding the New York City subway. Or trying to, since she also had some trouble with the turnstiles.
