When Demi Lovato announced she’d sing a song for upcoming animated flick The Angry Birds Movie, she wrote on Twitter that she couldn’t wait for her fans to hear it. Turns out, she wasn’t kidding. Just over a week after the news hit, the pop star has returned with a sneak peak of the track, a cover of Gloria Gaynor’s 1978 classic “I Will Survive.”

“Just for my lovatics, here’s a sneak peek of my cover of “I Will Survive” from #AngryBirdsMovie,” the 23-year-old singer tweeted. The accompanying video features a still of the single’s artwork surrounded by the cartoon birds signature to the viral video game from which the film takes its inspiration.

Lovato is one in a slew of celebs contributing to Angry Birds. Blake Shelton also penned a tune for the soundtrack, and will voice a pig onscreen. The cast includes Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Kate McKinnon, Tony Hale, Keegan-Michael Key, Ike Barinholtz, Tituss Burgess, Bill Hader, and Peter Dinklage.
