Earlier this month, the second installment in the God’s Not Dead film series hit theaters, starring Melissa Joan Hart as a high school history teacher who winds up in court for discussing Jesus in the classroom. Now, Saturday Night Live has released its own parody movie trailer tackling a similar topic: whether or not God is gay.

Billed as a production from the makers of hit films like God On The Run and Angel in Denim: The Kim Davis Story, SNL’s version starts as a quaint tale about a small-town baker who refuses to make a cake for a gay couple’s wedding before escalating into a courtroom battle about God’s sexuality.

“They say we’re bigots, but Christians are the most oppressed group in this country,” Vanessa Bayer explains. “But I’m going to prove once and for all that God is straight.”
