Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. star Clark Gregg delivers 'Toxic' performance on Lip Sync Battle

(Spike TV)

A guy like Clark Gregg should wear a warning.

In a sneak peek at Thursday’s Lip Sync Battle, the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. star performs Britney Spears’ “Toxic” in the same futuristic flight-attendant garb the singer wore in her video for the 2004 smash hit single.

As EW previously revealed exclusively, Gregg will face off against fellow Marvel actor Hayley Atwell (Agent Carter). Their friendly, lip-syncing rivalry stems from a Dubsmash war the two kicked off during Comic-Con, which led to a charity initiative that had the casts of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Carter competing to raise the most money for their respective charities. Team Carter ended up winning the competition, raising $79,259 for Stomp Out Bullying; Team S.H.I.E.L.D. came in at a close second with $75,070 for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

Will Atwell defeat Gregg once more? Find out when Lip Sync Battle airs Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on Spike.
