Walton Goggins is suiting up for SIX, History Channel’s Navy SEAL Team Six drama, EW has confirmed.

The Justified alum replaces Joe Manganiello, who dropped out of the physically-demanding project due to a health issue. Production, which was temporarily halted in the search for his replacement, is set to resume at the end of next week.

The eight-episode military drama follows an elite team of Navy SEALs whose 2014 mission to eliminate a Taliban leader in Afghanistan goes awry when they uncover a U.S. citizen working with the terrorists. Goggins takes over as Rip Taggart, the former leader of SEAL Team Six who protects an African village from Islamic terrorist group Boko Haram. Barry Sloane, Dominic Adams, Edwin Hodge, Kyle Schmidt, and Juan Pablo Raba also star.

Goggins, who most recently co-starred in Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight, currently stars opposite Danny McBride in the upcoming HBO dark comedy series Vice Principals.
