Google is joining music fans across the globe in mourning Prince after the iconic musician died Thursday at age 57 at his home outside Minneapolis.

In the wake of Prince’s passing, the search giant has paid tribute to the late artist with a purple-tinted Google Doodle depicting rain falling on the company’s logo. Clicking on the logo brings up search results for “Prince music.”

Purple Rain is of course the title of Prince’s sixth studio album, which features a song of the same name and serves as the soundtrack to a companion film. Released in 1984, the album was certified gold by the RIAA and the film won an Oscar for original song score.

Also honoring Prince on Thursday were President Obama, fellow entertainers, and Minnesota sports teams.
