Game of Thrones: Our burning questions from the season 6 premiere

We review the biggest twists with EW's 'Game of Theories'

(He;en Sloan/HBO; HBO (2))

The night is dark and full of… chokers?

The season 6 premiere of Game of Thrones ended with a shock — to both non-book and book readers — confirming the theory that Melisandre (Carice van Houten) without her magic is actually much older than she seems. The Red Woman is an old Red Woman, and with that, we have new questions to ask going forward. How old is she? And can her faith in the Lord of Light help with resurrecting a certain Night’s Watch brother who could use some of that magical life right about now?

We pose these questions and more in episode 1 of Game of Theories, EW’s weekly series (hosted by yours truly) breaking down the biggest moments in the latest episode. Sure, we may know nothing, but we can always try to analyze. And in the meantime, use the hashtag #EWGameofTheories to tweet your predictions, and find me on Twitter at @shirklesxp.
