Alt-rock titans Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced their return. The band behind classics like “Under the Bridge” and “Scar Tissue” will release their 11th studio album, The Getaway, on June 17. The Chili Peppers also shared the record’s first single, “Dark Necessities,” which is streaming below.

The Getaway is the first album from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees since 2011’s I’m With You, and the band switched things up by enlisting Danger Mouse (The Black Keys, Gnarls Barkley) for production and Nigel Godrich (Radiohead, Beck) for mixing. Rick Rubin had produced each of the band’s albums since 1991’s Blood Sugar Sex Magik. Following the 2009 departure of longtime guitarist John Frusciante, Josh Klinghoffer returns for his second consecutive record with the band.

The Chili Peppers will tour internationally this summer, making headlining stops at Lollapalooza in Chicago and Reading Festival in England.
