Courtney Love teases possible Hole reunion

Hole might be making a comeback. Courtney Love teased a reunion of the band on her Instagram account Friday, posting a photo of herself with bandmates Patty Schemel and Melissa Auf der Maur. “With the girls, serving up a Hole lot of something,” Love wrote. “Maybe.”

The grunge band released three albums in the ’90s, and last got together in 2010 to put out that year’s Nobody’s Daughter — but with a different lineup: Love, Schemel, and Auf der Maur haven’t recorded a record together since 1998’s Celebrity Skin, although Love previously hinted at a reunion in a 2014 interview with Paper magazine.

“Me and Melissa and Patty and [Celebrity Skin guitarist Eric Erlandson] have rehearsed a few times,” Love said. “In order to pull that off, we’d have to make some music that’s relevant to now, and we’d have to get a modern producer. I’m not going to do the oldies circuit.”

Maybe they finally found that producer they were looking for. “Maybe.” See the photo below.
