House of Cards‘ theme song is sans lyrics, but manages to set the mood for the evil political machinations by President Frank Underwood. If you were hurting for words, though, Father John Misty has you covered.

The singer-songwriter, who often dabbles in irony and a dry sense of humor, tweeted out a set of lyrics that he labeled as the “official lyrics to House Of Cards theme by Josh Tillman.” It has parts of a bad Bond theme and also references certain plot points; if you’re behind on the show, read ahead at your own peril.

Last year, Father John Misty performed tongue-in-cheek covers of Ryan Adams covering Taylor Swift’s 1989.

He also provided an elaborate falsehood of events on how he collaborated with Beyoncé on her newest album, Lemonade, before telling the truth.
