Brand New is back with something, well, brand new: The Jesse Lacey-led foursome debuted the Deja Entendu-reminiscent “I Am a Nightmare” Tuesday, marking the first time they’ve put out new music since releasing standalone single “Mene” in 2015.

Longtime Brand New collaborator Mike Sapone — who has also worked with Taking Back Sunday and Straylight Run — co-produced the song, which is now available to order on 12″ vinyl and is “taken from the band’s upcoming release,” according to a press release.

Although Brand New haven’t put out a record of fresh material since 2009’s Daisy, they did release a collection of previously unreleased 2006 demos (simply titled Leaked Demos 2006) in 2015.

Brand New’s summer tour kicks off June 1 in Vancouver, and they’ll go on to visit five other Canadian cities before joining Modest Mouse for the American leg of the tour in late June. See the full list of dates here.
