Warning: This story contains major spoilers from Tuesday’s episode of The Flash. Read at your own risk!

When Zoom says he plans to conquer the world, he truly will do whatever it takes, even if that means killing innocent people. And Zoom did just that during Tuesday’s episode of The Flash.

In an episode that saw the return of Katie Cassidy’s Laurel Lance — well, her Earth-2 doppelgänger Black Siren — Zoom (Teddy Sears) implored Barry not to be such a hero. Because while Barry is off saving people, Zoom’s plans (whatever they may be) will come to fruition. To drive his point home and prove that they are cut from the same cloth, Zoom decided to kill Barry’s father, Henry Allen (John Wesley Shipp).

The death comes on the heels of Henry Allen finally returning to town after a long vacation in the wake of getting out of prison. Henry just recently decided to stick around to be there for Barry, which should’ve raised a red flag in the foreshadowing department.
