One month from today, Almost Famous writer-director Cameron Crowe will crash your TV sets this summer with Roadies, an hour-long Showtime comedy that follows the support crew of a touring band as they bounce from city to city.

Showtime has released a new trailer for the show (debuting June 26) that highlights all the hijinks that can occur on the road, from stalkers to gun shots, to job reviews, to parades of ducks, to nakedness, to pies in the face, to romance, to music in all forms. Executive produced by Crowe, J.J. Abrams, and Winnie Holzman, Roadies features a cast that includes Luke Wilson, Carla Gugino, Imogen Poots, Rafe Spall, and Luis Guzman. And is that Rainn Wilson getting a massage while declaring, “You’ve lit a fire in my loins”? Perhaps you’d better just click on the trailer and see for yourself what’s going on backstage this summer.
