Famed Los Angeles hardcore punk group Descendents have announced the release of their first studio album in more than a decade. Hypercaffium Spazzinate arrives July 29 and follows 2004’s Cool to Be You and is the band’s seventh studio album. It’s also their first release for eminent punk label Epitaph Records since 1996’s Everything Sucks.

“I think one of the things that’s kept us inspired over the years is having the music as an outlet for our frustrations,” singer Milo Aukerman said in a press release. “Having the freedom to completely blow my voice out every time I recorded was a very positive experience for me.”

Descendents have a series of gigs planned, including stops at New Jersey’s Punk Rock Bowling Festival on June 11 and at both the Denver and Chicago iterations of Riot Fest, on September 2 and 16, respectively.

The group shared Hypercaffium Spazzinate‘s lead single “Victim of You” along with the album announcement. Hear it below.
