We’re about halfway through the NBA finals and the conclusion of Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors’ history-making season, so it’s high time we remember some of the sport’s history. And we mean high.

Jimmy Kimmel Live welcomed Snoop Dogg to give us the “Hizzistory of Bizzasketball” we so needed. 

One of the first things he points out is just how white the game was in its early days in 1954. “This is before black men were able to play basketball — as you see, there’s no jumping, no dunking, no heroics.” Instead, there was “underhand, bullsh–” “granny-style” free-throws which make Snoop glad he wasn’t playing back then.
