Kerry Washington, Emma Watson, and Lena Dunham are among the voices joining Lean In author Sheryl Sandberg’s call for women to support one another in the workplace and beyond.

In a recently released video for Sandberg’s new Together Women Can initiative, the trio share examples of the women who have contributed to their own successes: “I’m not really sure what my life would look like without Shonda Rhimes,” Scandal star Washington says of her show’s creator.

Watson says filmmaker Sophia Coppola “supported my work and she made me believe that I could do more,” while Dunham praises her close collaborator Jenni Konner.

“When women lean in together, we accomplish amazing things,” Sandberg adds.

Sandberg, who in addition to running the Lean In Foundation serves as the COO of Facebook, also spoke to Dunham about the new campaign in her Lenny Letter newsletter.

“Our goal is to help women lean in to their ambitions — and we don’t get there alone,” Sandberg said. “We have heard from our Lean In Circles and from women in the workplace that in order to be more confident and feel stronger, they look to their female peers for support.”
