It’s about time a soft-spoken, Southern politician stepped into the ring as a third-party candidate for president. On Thursday’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the Write-In Party’s Tim Calhoun did just that. Will Forte brushed off his index cards and reprised the recurring, slow-talking, career criminal-turned-politician character he originated on Saturday Night Live in 2002.

With two fingers extended ready to gesture robotically, Forte began: “I am Tim Calhoun and I am running for the office of President of America United States.” After describing himself with the single words written on his cards (which included “leader,” “economy,” and “dancer”), it was time to get into the issues.

“I’m pro-Isis,” he declared. “Whether large cubes or small flakes, ISIS keep my drinks cold. That’s good for America.” Later, while discussing cheese grating, Calhoun revealed his campaign slogan: Make America Cheese Grate Again.

Watch the clip below for more of Calhoun’s beliefs.
