Barely Famous updates new episode in light of Orlando massacre

(VH1)

VH1 has retitled a season two episode of Barely Famous in response to the recent Orlando massacre at a gay nightclub that left 49 dead.

“Out of respect for the tragic events that took place in Orlando, we have retitled season two’s episode two that was shot back in February and slightly edited its content,” the network said in a statement. According to an earlier press release, the episode was originally titled “What Happens in Orlando…”

Barely Famous follows in the footsteps of TNT’s The Last Ship, which rescheduled its season 3 premiere after news of the Orlando shooting broke. A teaser for the drama’s new season showed attackers opening fire in a crowded nightclub.

See the updated episode of Barely Famous when it debuts Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET on VH1.
