This should be music to the ears of Nashville fans: Many of the core cast members of Nashville are expected to return to the show in season 5 when it moves to CMT, EW has learned.

Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere, along with Charles Esten, Clare Bowen, Lennon Stella, Maisy Stella, Sam Palladio, Jonathan Jackson, and Chris Carmack are among those coming back to the countrified music drama. Aubrey Peeples and Will Chase are not expected to be joining their costars on their new network. (UPDATE: Peeples and Chase are currently in talks to return to the show not as series regulars, but to conclude their story lines.)

Lionsgate declined to comment on the news.

Nashville, which launched in 2012, was canceled in May by ABC. The series was rescued by CMT, which plans to air a fifth season. Hulu will stream the episodes the day after they air on CMT.

TVLine first reported the news.
