Swedish pop star Robyn has promised to release two tracks from her new remix collection each Friday, but now fans can hear one of them a day early: a remix of “Love Kills” by legendary American DJ Harry “Choo Choo” Romero is premiering today on EW.

“Love Kills” originally appeared on the second installment of Robyn’s Body Talk series in 2010 as a dark, bubbling synth-pop track. But Romero’s version strips away the song’s most recognizable elements to reimagine the song as a hissing house track with a funky bass line.

“Remixes make me listen to a song in a different way; they stretch you out as a listener and leave space for other things that a pop song usually doesn’t,” Robyn said in a statement announcing the remix project, which she’s been performing at music festivals this year. She asked nine artists to rework her old songs and has so far released two of them: last week, she shared updates of “Don’t F—king Tell Me What to Do” and “Hang With Me.” Tomorrow, she’ll release the “Love Kills” remix along with the Black Madonna remix of “Indestructible.”
