We now know when the next Lara Croft adventure will arrive. MGM and Warner Bros. have announced that the new Tomb Raider, starring Oscar-winner Alicia Vikander (The Danish Girl) will hit theaters on March 16, 2018.

The new Raider, based on the highly popular video game series, is being directed by Roar Uthaug (The Wave), produced by Graham King (World War Z) and will feature a younger Lara setting off on her first adventure.

Lara Croft was previously played by Angelina Jolie in two films — Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, which was released in 2001, and 2003’s Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life.
