Emmys 2016: Watch the nominations live

Television’s biggest day has arrived: On Thursday at 11:30 a.m. ET/8:30 a.m. PT, the Television Academy will announce nominees for the 2016 Emmy Awards.

This year’s nominations will be announced at the Wolf Theater at the Television Academy’s Saban Media Center in North Hollywood. Black-ish star Anthony Anderson and Gilmore Girls star lLauren Graham will make the announcement live from the Wolf Theater at the Television Academy’s Saban Media Center in North Hollywood. Joining them for the presentation will be Television Academy Chairman and CEO Bruce Rosenblum.

Last year, Game of Thrones led all shows with 24 nominations. American Horror: Freak Show and Olive Kitteridge were second and third with, respectively, 19 and 13 nominations a piece.

Expected contenders this year include Game of Thrones, Mr. Robot, Orange is the New Black, American Horror Story: Hotel, People v. O.J. Simpson: America Crime Story, and many other top shows.
