Ellen DeGeneres scares Carrie Underwood with a look-alike of her husband

It’s not even Halloween yet, but Ellen DeGeneres never needs an excuse to scare someone. Her latest target was Carrie Underwood, a guest on Friday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

As it turns out, Underwood’s appearance marks the 10th time she’s appeared on the show over the years. The first time was after Underwood won American Idol in 2005, and DeGeneres had a photo of that memorable occasion to show everyone just how much they’ve changed.

“Oh my goodness,” Underwood said, reacting to the photo. “Oh my goodness!”

But that shocker was just the warm-up for what was coming. Soon, a man dressed up like Underwood’s husband, Nashville Predators hockey pro Mike Fisher, popped out of a fake table directly behind the ladies. As is usual with DeGeneres’ guests, Underwood didn’t see it coming.

“Ahhhh! Oh my gosh!” she yelled, trailing off into something inaudible.

Meanwhile, DeGeneres sat back and laughed, clearly pleased with herself. Watch it all go down in the video below.
