It seems Luke has another gig outside his Stars Hollow diner — well, Scott Patterson does, anyway.

The Gilmore Girls actor heads the rock blues group Gordon, which channels the big arena sounds of the early ‘70s. While the group hasn’t released any official recordings, Patterson has shared many live performance videos on the band’s official Facebook and Twitter.

The “Comin’ Back to Jersey” clip reveals Patterson taking lead vocals and guitar, while he belts anthem-style lyrics, a skill Lorelai and the rest of the Stars Hollow crew surely would be thrilled to hear. The band’s official website reveals the actor has been musically inclined since the age of 13, and has since “compiled over 500 songs that cover all genres and styles.”

Patterson portrayed Luke Danes on Gilmore Girls during its first run from 2000 to 2007 on the WB. With Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, the upcoming Netflix revival series, Patterson will don the backwards cap yet again to woo Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and serve his best snark to frequent diner patrons Sookie (Melissa McCarthy), Rory (Alexis Bledel) and many more fan favorites.
