What's leaving Netflix in October: Back to the Future trilogy, Erin Brockovich, and more

There’s nothing Marty McFly and Doc Brown can do to change this reality: The Back to the Future trilogy is leaving Netflix in October.

Thrill seekers also face a tight deadline to relive the suspense of Christopher Nolan’s Insomnia or horror classic The Exorcist, and drama lovers will soon lose their chance to see Julia Roberts’ Oscar-winning performance in Erin Brockovich.

Some TV favorites are leaving the streaming site, too. The full Psych series is on the way out, along with Saturday Night Love: The 2010s: Season 38. Seasons 1 through 4 of cult classic Heroes and the second season of Marvel’s Avengers Assemble are also disappearing from Netflix.
