Grace VanderWaal’s fame train is picking up speed with a performance of her America’s Got Talent winning track on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Friday.

The 12-year-old singer-songwriter graced the late night show just nine days after her reality competition show win. In a fitting gesture, VanderWaal performed her original song “Clay,” which she debuted during the final rounds of the NBC series. The track covers the issue of bullies, giving a voice to those who can relate.

Using her signature ukulele, the young artist joined The Roots on stage, which was covered in a dreamy layer of fog and light-adorned trees.

VanderWaal, who will now headline a Las Vegas show starting in October, signed a contract with America’s Got Talent judge Simon Cowell and Columbia Records upon her win, which also includes a $1 million prize. She also enjoyed a wealth of celebrity support after snagging of the competition crown, including numerous tweets from fellow artists Katy Perry and Jason Mraz, and a personalized surprise gift from Taylor Swift.
