It’s that time again: The releasing of the cryptic Sherlock episode titles.
As usual, each is a play on a classic Sir Arthur Conan Doyle story. Except for some reason, BBC One released only two of the three episode names.
The first is “The Six Thatchers,” which fans speculate references the story “The Six Napoleons” (a story that starts out about somebody wrecking bust sculptures of the French military leader and eventually leads to a murder).
The second is “The Dying Detective,” a seeming play on “The Lying Detective” (a story where Holmes pretended he was dying of a rare disease).
Season 4 will premiere in January on PBS Masterpiece. Below is the trailer:
