Justin Timberlake grooves through The 20/20 Experience in new trailer for Netflix concert doc

Justin Timberlake’s on his suit and tie s— in the new trailer for Netflix concert doc Justin Timberlake and The Tennessee Kids, which chronicles the performer’s final stop of his 20/20 Experience World Tour.

The film is directed by Oscar winner Jonathan Demme (The Silence of the Lambs) and produced by Emmy winner Gary Goetzman (Olive Kitteridge, Big Love). This marks Timberlake’s first solo concert film, though he’s no stranger to being in front of the camera: The former *NSYNC member has previously starred in scripted movies like 2012’s Trouble With the Curve and 2011’s Friends With Benefits. 

Timberlake’s 134-date 20/20 Experience World Tour kicked off in November 2013 and concluded Jan. 2, 2015 at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena. “It’s very emotional, very exciting,” Demme previously told EW of the film. “It’s a space age music film!”

Aside from this project, Timberlake also stars in the upcoming Trolls animated film, out Nov. 4, alongside Anna Kendrick. See the trailer for the concert documentary, which begins streaming on Netflix Oct. 12, above.
