Former NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams has spent nearly a year away from a primetime news desk after misrepresenting an incident he was involved in during the Iraq War, but that hiatus will come to an end in February.

Williams will join Rachel Maddow to co-anchor MSNBC’s coverage of the Iowa caucus, beginning on Monday. Along with on-site correspondents Chris Matthews, Andrea Mitchell, and Chuck Todd, Williams and Maddow will provide insight and explanation during what is famously considered the first electoral event of the presidential nomination process.

While this will be Williams’ first time back on primetime news since his suspension last February, the famous anchor has been reporting major daytime news stories at MSNBC since September, including covering Pope Francis’ visit to the U.S.
