Let’s get this kid in front of a crowd!

While many Hamilton fans may boast that they know the musical’s soundtrack backwards and forwards, one lucky 11-year-old got put to the test in front of the Founding Father himself — and passed with flying colors.

The fan, Gregory Diaz, rapped a spot-on rendition of Thomas Jefferson’s opening verses in the song “Cabinet Battle #1” at the recent 30th annual Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction, while Javier Muñoz, who now plays Alexander Hamilton in the Broadway smash, looked on in delight.

At the end, as everyone applauds, he gave Diaz a high-five and tells him, “That was awesome!”

Muñoz took over the Hamilton leading role full-time after Lin-Manuel Miranda departed the show in July. Before that, he was Miranda’s alternate.
