Monday night featured a landmark for Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show: It was the first time Questlove and Tariq “Black Thought” Trotter were on a game team together. The two Roots leaders faced off against Fallon and Taraji P. Henson in a game of Password, and acquitted themselves well, too: The Roots won the first round, when Trotter successfully guessed “Bubble” based on Questlove’s “burst” clue.

Fallon and Henson rallied back by winning “Shimmy,” which meant the two teams were tied going into “Salami.” This word went back and forth a couple times; Trotter wasn’t able to decipher Questlove’s Robert De Niro impression, and Fallon couldn’t do anything with Henson’s “hoagie” clue. Eventually Questlove just said “meat,” and Trotter finally guessed “Salami.” They followed up by winning the final round (“Yodel”) securing a victory for Questlove and Trotter’s first game partnership.
