Adrian Grenier is forced to confront his past in exclusive Trash Fire trailer

In the new film Trash Fire, Entourage star Adrian Grenier plays a character named Owen, who, together with his girlfriend Isabel (Angela Trimbur from The Final Girls), becomes entangled in a horrifying web of lies, deceit, and murder, when he is forced to confront the past from which he has been running his whole adult life.

Written and directed by Richard Bates Jr. (Excision, Suburban Gothic) Trash Fire costars AnnaLynne McCord, Fionnula Flanagan, and Matthew Gray Gubler.

“I cast Adrian because the first independent film I ever saw when I was a kid back home in Virginia was (1998’s) The Adventures of Sebastian Cole, and I loved him in it,” said Bates in a statement, ahead of the film’s screening at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. “People seemed to forget all the great work he did in independent films in the ‘90’s. He’s an underrated actor and I thought it’d be fun to re-introduce him back into that independent world as something entirely different from his more recent roles.”

Trash Fire is released in theaters and on VOD via Orion Releasing and Vertical Entertainment, Nov. 4.
