While the ladies of Saturday Night Live channeled Beyoncé’s beloved Lemonade for a spoof of Donald and Melania Trump this weekend, musical guest Bruno Mars brought something a little less familiar to the show: a brand new song.

For his second interlude, the singer performed “Chunky,” a new track that puts everything fans love about Mars on display. He kicked things off earlier with the title track off his latest album, “24K Magic,” which dropped last week with an accompanying music video.

“Thank you, [NBC],” Mars wrote on Instagram following his return to the SNL stage. This weekend marks his forth time as the late-night sketch comedy show’s musical guest, though he pulled double duty as host for his 2012 episode.

He joined The Girl on the Train star Emily Blunt, who hosted after the season got things going with Suicide Squad‘s Margot Robbie and Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda. Tom Hanks and Lady Gaga will play host and musical guest, respectively, next week.
