On Saturday, Pusha T joined Democratic vice presidential candidate, Tim Kaine, on the campaign trail to co-host the Florida Democratic Block Party in Liberty City, Florida.

Over 200 residents from the community were in attendance at the event where Pusha T made a note of the importance of voting and urged those who attended to register to vote. Pusha T has been vocal about his support for Hillary Clinton for several months now. In July, he designed a shirt that was inspired by the Democratic nominee’s “Delete your account” tweet which has since gone viral.

During the event with Senator Kaine, the rapper made a speech comparing the upcoming election to a chess game and encouraged those in the community to vote Democratic.

“If [Donald Trump] loses Florida, it’s checkmate,” he said. “Let’s do some checkmate and win.”

Congresswoman Frederica Wilson and Miami City Commissioner Keon Hardemon also showed their support at the event alongside celebrities such as Angela Yee, Yara Shahidi, Karen Civil, and many others.
