Tilda Swinton's kids worked on Doctor Strange

(ABC)

When Tilda Swinton stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday night, host Jimmy Kimmel made sure to congratulate her for looking so cool using magic and fighting skills in the upcoming Doctor Strange movie. Swinton acknowledged the contributions of the special effects team, a team which even included her own children, son Xavier and daughter Honor.

“My son was with the art department, and my daughter was in the costume department, and they loved it,” Swinton said. “My son, we had this amazing moment when I met him for lunch one day in the canteen. I said, ‘What did you do this morning?’ He said, ‘Made a planet.’ I’ve now seen the movie, and I can tell you it’s a planet that appears to great effect at the end of the movie.”

(What planet could Swinton be referring to? Possibly Soul World, the pocket dimension that exists inside of the Soul Stone, one of the few remaining Infinity Stones that have not yet appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. If Marvel is going to showcase every Stone individually ahead of 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War, the psychedelic Soul Stone would certainly be a good fit for Doctor Strange. To be continued.)

Then, since Swinton is actually a beneficent magician, she pulled a newly-engaged couple from the audience and invited them to the Doctor Strange premiere.
