Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally are uncomfortably close on Life in Pieces

The real-life spouses guest-star in the CBS comedy's season 2 premiere

(CBS)

If you’ve been missing Ron and Tammy, go rewatch Parks and Recreation. But if you want to see Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally have disturbing romantic chemistry, the season 2 premiere of Life in Pieces could very well be worth a tune-in.

The real-life married couple will guest-star as siblings who seem way too close for comfort, with Mullally as Mary-Lynn, the open-minded mother of Clementine (Hunter King), and Offerman as Spencer, a.k.a. Uncle Dad, who filled in as Clementine’s dad, when Mary-Lynn’s husband left her. How close are they? For starters, they still sleep in twin beds in the same room. Check out this clip from the premiere, in which Tim (Dan Bakkedahl) and Heather (Betsy Brandt) argue that Clementine and Tyler (Niall Cunnigham) are too young to be married, but Mary-Lynn and Spencer — well, these two totally understand unconventional situations.

Life In Pieces begins season 2 on Oct. 27 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
