Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder loves the Chicago Cubs so much he wrote a song about them. So after his favorite baseball team won its first pennant game since 1945, of course he was going to be in the clubhouse partying it up with the athletes.

CSN Chicago’s Dan Hayes captured a photo of Vedder posing with pitcher Jon Lester on the field, while video from Fox Sports shows the singer partaking in a champagne shower inside the clubhouse. Elsewhere, he was lifted up on someone’s shoulders and went around shaking the players’ hands.

Vedder honored his team earlier this year by surprising the audience at the Cubs’ Hot Stove Cool benefit concert at the Metro Chicago concert hall. He performed a collection of Pearl Jam and solo songs, plus covers.
