Carrie Underwood’s debut album has set another record.
Some Hearts has been certified eight-times platinum by the RIAA, according to a post from the musician. No country album released since 2000 has been certified platinum more times than Underwood’s 2005 album.
Underwood’s 2015 album Storytellers reached platinum status, while her prior releases Blown Away, Play On, and Carnival Ride are all in the multi-platinum range. As far as the RIAA’s Digital Single Ranking, Underwood is the top country artist and a top-five female artist across all genres.
Underwood is currently on the road for her Storyteller Tour: Stories in the Round arena tour, which is scheduled to end Nov. 28 in West Valley City, Utah.
