PICK OF THE NIGHT
This Is Us
NBC, 9 p.m.
So we know you like emotional human dramas starring Mandy Moore… but what about football? Tonight’s episode relies heavily on pigskin drama, particularly concerning vintage Pittsburgh Steelers Super Bowls. But don’t worry, it’s not really just about football. It’s about life, ya know?

FALL CLASSIC
The World Series
Fox, 7:30 p.m.
The Chicago Cubs and Cleveland Indians square off in Game 1 of what promises to be a historic World Series. If the Cubs best the Indians in the Series, it’ll be the first time they’ve won it all since 1908. Meanwhile, if the Indians win the Series, everyone outside of Cleveland will hate them.

I CAN FEEL IT…
The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon
NBC, 11:35 p.m.

…coming in the air tonight! That’s right, none other than Phil Collins will join Fallon on the show tonight, so get ready to do some major air-drumming. Plus: Ethan Hawke is the other guest, and we know that guy likes to rock as well.
