Baseball may not have been prevalent during Alexander Hamilton’s lifetime, but that didn’t stop the cast of Hamilton in Chicago from showing some serious team spirit on Thursday to celebrate the Chicago Cubs’ World Series win.
The actors sang “Go Cubs Go” at curtain call, giving the song the Broadway treatment while clapping and dancing happily. You’ve never heard the song like this: The Hamilton clan gave it a full, lush sound and added a seriously stellar solo as they flew Cubs Win Flags and donned their Cubs hats. Their excitement was infectious, and the crowd was feeling it as they stood and clapped along to the anthem.
