More than 10 years after Dave Chappelle walked away from Chappelle’s Show, the comedian is returning to TV in a big way — to host Saturday Night Live for the first time.

In the first promo for Saturday’s episode, Chappelle makes his way through an empty Studio 8H at 30 Rock while “Can I Kick It?” by this week’s musical guest, A Tribe Called Quest, plays in the background.

This is the highest-profile television gig for Chappelle since his popular Comedy Central series ended in 2006. In recent years, he has been focusing on his stand-up career and appeared in Spike Lee’s 2015 film, Chi-Raq.

Coming on the heels of the 2016 presidential election, this weekend’s SNL episode is sure to feature plenty of political talk — something that Chappelle recently came under fire for. Over the weekend, reports stated that during a surprise stand-up routine in New York on Friday, the comedian defended Donald Trump while also criticizing Hillary Clinton. A rep for Chappelle released a statement denouncing suggestions that he defended the Republican presidential nominee.

Chappelle’s episode of SNL airs on Saturday at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
