Dave Chappelle was the life of the Saturday Night Live afterparty this weekend when he led NYC venue the Cutting Room in a rendition of Radiohead’s “Creep.” 

The Roots frontman Questlove posted video of his impromptu cover to Instagram. “In a life full of highlights? I’m glad I waited til 5:22am for this…” he wrote. 

Chappelle hosted SNL for the first time on Saturday, which marked a series high for the show in ratings and the show’s first episode since Donald Trump won the presidency. Cast member Leslie Jones, who posted photos and videos from the afterparty with Madonna and Bradley Cooper, joined Chappelle onstage during the jam session. 

Earlier in the evening, Lenny Kravitz took over the drum set, as shown through video from Jones’ Twitter feed.
