J.J. Abrams and Natalie Portman may never worked on a Star Wars film at the same time, but perhaps their mutual roles in the franchise have given them some kind of intuitive understanding. At least that’s how it seemed on Tuesday night, when Abrams and Portman went on The Tonight Show to play a game of Password against Neil Diamond and host Jimmy Fallon, and promptly creamed their opponents.

In the game, players have to get their teammate to guess a secret word using one-word clues. Even when Fallon and Diamond struggled with words like “salsa” and “tickle,” Abrams and Portman easily got them with smart clues (“merengue” and “feather,” respectively). When Abrams got Portman to guess “mistletoe” by simply saying “Christmas,” they ended the game undefeated.
