Roman Coppola's new skin care line

Call him the Godfather of grapeseeds. Roman Coppola (son of Francis Ford) has found a new use for the stuff that enables wine to age gracefully. After the media began reporting the anti-aging benefits of grapeseed oil, Coppola and some of his Napa Valley, Calif., pals created a skincare line called Uvavita (”grape life”) using seeds from, among other vineyards, papa’s Niebaum-Coppola Winery — what a coincidence.

The date: June 3.The place: Hollywood’s Pantages Theatre, site of the first annual Blockbuster Entertainment Awards.The presenters: Lois & Clark’s Man of Steel, Dean Cain, and Wayne’s World’s Tia Carrere, clad in a low-cut gown.The joke: Right before the duo presented Jodie Foster with the Favorite Actress in a Theatrical Comedy award, audience members let out loud whistles. Carrere turned to her partner and laughed, ”That was for you, Dean.”
