Take a couple of clever cultural allusions (Better Luck Tomorrow! Neil Patrick Harris!), add some Dude, Where's My Car?-like high jinks (marrying a giant bag of weed), divide by a savvy take on the Asian-American experience (better than Better Luck Tomorrow), and you'll end up with an uproarious (and subversively smart) ride in Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle. How's that for stoner logic? EXTRAS This Extreme Unrated edition features some hilarious outtakes and amusing sound bites from interviews and commentaries with cast and crew. But nothing comes close to the gleeful (and possibly degenerate) raunchiness of the intrepid sound designer's methods for recording the more scatological noises for the film. Even the dopey duo's banter during the menu screen Hamburgles a few chuckles to round out a rather potent DVD package.
