Meet the Barkers

MTV, April

STARRING Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and his wife, Pacific Blue's Shanna Moakler

WHAT IT'S ABOUT Think Newlyweds with more tattoos. The Barkers adjust to married life while juggling careers and rearing their 1-year-old son, Landon (who, like Dad, sports a Mohawk), and Moakler's 5-year-old daughter, Atiana. ''People have a distorted view of how someone like me would raise children,'' says Barker, who also runs a clothing company and a record label. ''[This show] will give people an opportunity to see that you can be an entrepreneur and play in bands and go on tour and act like you're 13 and still come home and be rad parents.''

WHAT TO EXPECT ''One minute they're partying at the Playboy Mansion and then they change diapers, so it's an amazing juxtaposition,'' says MTV exec VP of series entertainment Lois Curren. ''Travis is fearsome the way he looks. But to see him cry when he's about to go on tour because he's afraid he's going to miss Landon's first step is so cool.''
