Brazilian Girls (2005)

EW's GRADE
B

Details Release Date: Feb 01, 2005; Lead Performance: Brazilian Girls

Club-hoppers, midnight romantics, and world-music fans, unite! These Latin lounge cats from NYC (curiously, three guys and one girl, none of them Brazilian) bring a sensual swirl of dub, bossa nova grooves, booty-bumpin'house beats, down-and-dirty trip-hop, and even quaint Parisian cafésongs that will make you ''Dance Till the Morning'' (among other activities). Though not every song on Brazilian Girls is as seductive as standouts ''Homme'' and ''Lazy Lover,'' Sabina Sciubba's multilingual purr remains unceasingly irresistible.
