Coming on like Damien Rice gone electric, these Irishmen have a way of merging lush Celtic melancholy with inspired Morse-code guitar noise on their album Burn the Maps. (''Happy'' is the keeper here.) Alas, they also have a way with misogyny: In tracks like ''Fake'' and ''Sideways Down,'' singer-guitarist Glen Hansard's spiteful jabs at departed lovers make you want to throw a shepherd's pie in his face.
